Experimental papers should be based on results from network experiments performed at SC16 or in the preparation for SC17. Network Research Exhibitors and other SC demonstrators are encouraged to submit papers. Research papers can present novel network research in any form that targets science, cyberinfrastructure, and supercomputing.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • High-speed network protocols
  • Network architectures
  • Securing high-speed networks
  • High performance data transfer applications and techniques
  • Science DMZs and other campus network constructs
  • Software-defined networking , OpenFlow and NFV
