Paper Submission and Guidelines
Paper Submission Guidelines:
Accepted papers will be published in the SC23 conference workshop proceedings through SC INDIS Linklings. Submitted papers must describe original work that has not appeared in, nor is under consideration for, another conference, journal or Arxiv submissions. Long papers shall be eight (8) pages minimum and not exceed twelve (12) including text, appendices, and figures. Appendix pages related to the reproducibility initiative dependencies, namely the Artifact Description (AD) and Artifact Evaluation (AE), are not included in the page count. Short abstracts on the demonstrations are limited to two (2) pages, excluding references.
Similar to previous INDIS, there will be a best paper award at the workshop, as well as a best demonstration award to be presented at the SCinet Theater during exhibition hours.
Authors are invited to submit papers with unpublished, original work:
- Full papers are limited to 12 pages; includes figures, tables, and your appendices, but does not include references, for which there is no page limit. Reproducibility initiative dependencies (Artifact Description or Computational Results Analysis) are also not included in the 12-page limit.
- Short papers are limited to 2 page demonstration descriptions that are showcasing the use of networking testbeds like FABRIC, Chameleon or SCinet deployments (this page limit does not include references but includes all technical content and figures).
All accepted papers (subject to post-review revisions) will be published in the SC23 conference workshop proceedings through IEEE TCHPC.

All authors must use the new proceedings templates at https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template.
For Latex users, version 1.90 (last update April 4, 2023) is the latest template, and please use the “sigconf” option.
Reproducibility Criteria for INDIS:

INDIS follows the reproducibility initiative of SC23. AD/AE sample form is available. AD Appendices are optional for all submissions, but will be used in case of a tie. AE Appendices are still optional, and both will be submitted via a standard form in the conference submission system. Three new Technical Program tracks, with their respective committees and chairs, are introduced in support of the SC Reproducibility Initiative.
